How far back can you go on a cleanup?

As far as we need to. We've cleaned up books that were over a year behind. The key is having access to bank statements, trust account statements, and any existing records going back to the last point of clean reconciliation. The further back we go, the more work is involved, which is reflected in the project scope and flat fee.

How long does a cleanup take?

It depends on how far behind the books are and the complexity of the firm's finances. A 3-6 month cleanup for a small firm typically takes 2-4 weeks. A more complex cleanup covering a full year or more for a larger firm can take 4-8 weeks. We give you a realistic timeline during the assessment phase before any work begins.

How is cleanup priced?

Cleanup is priced as a flat-fee one-time project, not hourly. After our initial assessment we give you a single flat number for the full cleanup. No surprises, no scope creep billing. The flat fee is based on how far back we need to go, the volume of transactions, and the complexity of the trust account situation.

Do I have to commit to ongoing service after the cleanup?

No. Cleanup is a standalone project with no strings attached. We clean up your books, hand them off, and you decide what comes next. That said, most cleanup clients do transition to ongoing service because they've seen firsthand what clean books look like and don't want to go back. But it's entirely your call.
